Eyebrow Threading is a method of hair removal originating in Asia using a thin (cotton or polyester) thread.  It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short rows of hair.

Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin.

* Threading has been around for many years, starting in the Middle East and made it’s way to the West and Eastern area.

* Less painful than tweezing because it is done so quickly.

* Unlike tweezing, eyebrow threading can remove an entire row of hairs, instead of only one.

* Less expensive than other procedures, such as waxing and laser hair removal.

* Results can last up to 2-3 weeks.

1. How often do you have to thread your eyebrows?

Every 3-4 weeks. to keep them looking their best

2. How does eye brow threading work?

Technique. In threading, a thin (cotton or polyester) thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short rows of hair.

3. Can threading stop hair growth?

Threading slows down and reduces hair growth. hair also grows much thinner thus making it easier to remove and less painful when threaded. Tweezing just one time in between will reverse all that is achieved from threading and can further irritate follicles which can cause hair to become ingrown, coarser, and darker.

4. Is it better to wax or thread?

Threading eyebrows and other unwanted facial hair is faster than sugaring and even natural waxing methods because there is no wait time for anything to dry or harden. The hair is just gone. Another great thing about threading versus waxing is it lasts much longer.
